Pharmacognosy is the study of crude drug which is obtained from natural sources like plants, animals & minerals.

The Pharmacognosy lab contains various types of equipment & apparatus like microscopes, digital balance, Calorimeter, UV cabinet, Soxhict apparatus, laminar air flow etc. by which we can perform the different practicals / experiments.

"In pharmacy field, Pharmacognosy play an important role in manufacturing of Ayurveda & Homeopathic medicines etc. Which is used to treat various acute & chronic diseases and disorders.
